- TWITTER LIVESEARCH [Coakley Brown]
The AP and WBZ Channel 38 seem to be updating the fastest. Swing State Project also has some interesting updates, using a couple of different projection models using the results that have come in so far... And thanks to my Hudson Valley neighbor Sam Seder for the Twitter link.
UPDATE, 8:50 PM: Right now it's looking like Coakley is going to need a big lift from the inner-Boston districts which haven't reported in order to close the current ~5% gap (~45,000 votes statewide) with Brown. The one ray of hope for Coakley right now is that the red district results that are in so far have reported 100% of their votes, whereas most blue district results are more partial.
UPDATE, 9:25 PM: The AP has now called the election for Brown, who's up by over 100,000 votes, and still holding a 7% lead. Even though the blue districts are still lagging in reporting, it doesn't look like C[h)oakley can make up the ground in urban areas she'd need to cut the deficit.
