There's bad news out of Albany for Greg Fingar, John Ciampoli, Erik Tyree, Jim Paroli Jr., James Walsh, and other Republicans who like to try to deprive people of their right to vote.
This legislation has now passed both the Assembly and Senate--making it harder for political schnooks to manufacture trivial reasons to toss out absentee ballots.
Meanwhile, the 60-day deadline passed last Monday for Judge Jonathan Nichols to rule on a motion to sanction Columbia County GOP attorneys for their wasteful, irresponsible and fruitless efforts last winter to harass intimidate legitimate voters. There is no indication that Nichols has issued a decision.
Also unknown is whether County Dems will act to enforce the improper legal payments for that fiasco made by Fingar et al. from the GOP Housekeeping fund, which are not supposed to be used for such purposes.
