18 absentee and affidavit ballots were counted in the 1st Ward at 11:35 am, 17 for Haddad and 1 for Hallenbeck, cutting the Republican's lead down from 27 to just 11.
Three other ballots were challenged by George Dejesus for Hallenbeck, and two were challenged by the Haddad legal team. These will go to a judge for a final decision if the parties press their cases.
