For several months, I’ve been building another site—one which would help me look over all the local headlines, blog posts, and event listings that I check regularly, at one central location ... Realizing that this service would probably also be useful to others, I’m previewing this work in progress, called Clovr.net.
There are currently three sections: Blogs, News and Events. The headlines are pulled automatically, so that if anyone adds something to their site, it shows up pretty much immediately. Each headline is linked to the source, so you can then read the full stories which interest you. I’m also updating the site manually with some commentary and/or highlights for each section.
More sections and counties may be added later, if this catches on. Give it a whirl and send along some feedback. (Note: If you use Internet Explorer, it’s not going to look good on your monitor at this point. Please, just stop using Internet Explorer. It stinks. There are links to download other browsers on the front page of the beta site.)
