No wonder DEC has no time for testing

According to YNN, a (now-former) environmental engineer has pled guilty to petit larceny, and paid $20,000 restitution, for making “hundreds of calls” to phone sex numbers “while on the job as an engineer for the DEC” [New York State Department of Environmental Conservation]. According to the Times-Union’s coverage from the time of the engineer’s arrest, the calls “totalled more than 500 hours when [he] was on state work time.”
