As speculated in this earlier post, BaconFest has decamped from Hudson to Troy, where it can piggyback (pun intended) on another event. This year’s list of vendors does not appear to include any businesses from Columbia County.
The event—which clogged Hudson’s already-stuffed summer weekend arteries—was deemed something of a debacle in 2012, when many unprepared vendors ran out of bacon well before noon.
